Here’s a little something you probably didn’t know… there are around 70 cats that live underneath St. Petersburg’s Hermitage Museum. They were originally brought in by an Empress who was living there while it was a palace to get rid of the rodents that ran freely along the vast hallways. A couple of hundred years later, they’re still there and are looked after by staff.
