Bob Maumill’s Formal Dinner

Wednesday, September 17th, 2008

This evening I had the pleasure of attending Bob Maumill’s Formal Dinner – a splendid affair at Friend’s Restaurant. It was a delightful evening of fine conversation and good food. Oh, and quite a lot of wine.

Illumination Fashion Parade

Sunday, September 7th, 2008

Presented by the High Street Fashion Collective, this parade featured designers Kartique, Love In Tokyo, Ashe, Adam Wore Short Pants, Mabu, Cocoon Textiles, Mandi Mac, Loop & Linpin – with music from Chokolatt.

Just stunning, and so very chic.

Oh my sides!

Saturday, September 6th, 2008

Never before, in the history of Opening Ceremonies, have I laughed so hard, that I had to gaffa tape my sides to prevent the inevitable splitting.

A good friend of mine thought they looked like Teletubbies. I think TellyTARDIES is more appropriate…. and also very wrong.

Pressed Tin

Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

The house that I have just moved into has walls made of pressed tin – I am surrounded by metal, so I know that “they” won’t be able to pick up on my thoughts – ha ha ha ha!

Seriously though – it’s amazing! I love it, and I know it loves me back!

Wrong.

IT’S GOT SKIN ON IT! NOOOOOOOO!

I think I’ll stick to water.
